 Sautéed Beef with Onions

Ingredients:

– 1 lb (450g) beef sirloin or flank steak, thinly sliced
– 2 large onions, sliced into rings
– 2 tablespoons olive oil
– 2 tablespoons soy sauce
– 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
– 2 cloves garlic, minced
– 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
– 1 teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)
– 1 teaspoon paprika (optional)
– Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

1. **Prepare the Beef:**
– In a medium bowl, combine the sliced beef with soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, minced garlic, black pepper, and salt. Mix well to ensure the beef is evenly coated. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes to enhance the flavor.

2. **Cook the Onions:**
– Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet or frying pan over medium-high heat.
– Add the onion rings to the pan and sauté until they become golden and caramelized, about 8-10 minutes. Remove the onions from the pan and set aside.

3. **Cook the Beef:**
– In the same skillet, add the remaining 1 tablespoon of olive oil.
– Add the marinated beef slices to the pan, spreading them out in a single layer. Cook on high heat for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until the beef is browned and cooked through. Avoid overcrowding the pan; you may need to cook the beef in batches.

4. **Combine and Serve:**
– Once the beef is cooked, return the caramelized onions to the pan and toss everything together. Cook for an additional 2 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
– Optional: Sprinkle with paprika for an added layer of flavor and garnish with fresh parsley.
– Serve hot with rice, mashed potatoes, or your favorite side dish.

Enjoy your delicious sautéed beef with onions!
