Ingredients:

– 1 pound breakfast sausage
– 6 large eggs
– 2 cups milk
– 1 teaspoon salt
– 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
– 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
– 6 cups cubed bread (such as French or Italian bread)
– 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
– 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
– 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
– 1/4 cup chopped green onions (optional)

 Instructions:

1. **Preheat the Oven:**
– Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

2. **Cook the Sausage:**
– In a skillet over medium heat, cook the sausage until browned and cooked through, breaking it into crumbles. Drain any excess fat and set aside.

3. **Prepare the Egg Mixture:**
– In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.

4. **Assemble the Casserole:**
– Spread the cubed bread evenly in the prepared baking dish. Sprinkle the cooked sausage over the bread.
– Pour the egg mixture over the sausage and bread. Gently press down with a spatula to ensure the bread absorbs the egg mixture.
– Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the top, followed by the cherry tomatoes and chopped green onions, if using.
– Top with grated Parmesan cheese.
