Ingredients:
– 1 box of brownie mix (plus ingredients to make the brownies)
– 2 cups cold milk
– 1 (3.9 oz) package instant chocolate pudding mix
– 1 cup creamy peanut butter
– 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
– 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
– 1 (16 oz) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
– 1 bag of mini peanut butter cups, chopped (reserve some whole ones for garnish)
Instructions:
1. **Bake the Brownies:**
– Prepare the brownies according to the package instructions. Let them cool completely, then cut into small squares.
2. **Prepare the Pudding:**
– In a medium bowl, whisk together the cold milk and instant chocolate pudding mix until smooth. Set aside to thicken.
3. **Make the Peanut Butter Mixture:**
– In a large mixing bowl, beat the peanut butter, cream cheese, and sweetened condensed milk until smooth. Fold in half of the whipped topping until combined.
4. **Assemble the Trifle:**
– In a large trifle bowl or a similar glass dish, layer the ingredients as follows:
1. Half of the brownie squares.
2. Half of the peanut butter mixture.
3. Half of the chocolate pudding.
4. A layer of chopped peanut butter cups.
5. Half of the remaining whipped topping.
