Peach Trifle
Servings: 6-8

Chilling Time: 1 hour
Ingredients:
- 2 cans (15 oz each) of peaches in syrup, drained and sliced (or use fresh peaches if available)
- 1 cup heavy cream or whipped topping
- 1 package (3.4 oz) instant vanilla pudding mix
- 2 cups cold milk (for the pudding mix)
- 1/2 cup crushed vanilla wafers or graham crackers
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
- Additional whipped topping, for garnish
Instructions:
- Prepare the Pudding:
- In a bowl, combine the instant vanilla pudding mix with cold milk. Whisk for about 2 minutes until it thickens. Set aside to chill in the refrigerator for 5-10 minutes.
- Prepare the Whipped Cream:
- If using heavy cream, beat it until soft peaks form. Add vanilla extract if desired. Alternatively, you can use pre-made whipped topping.
- Layer the Trifle:
- In a large trifle bowl or individual serving glasses, start by adding a layer of peach slices at the bottom.
- Add a layer of vanilla pudding over the peaches.
- Spoon a layer of whipped cream or whipped topping on top of the pudding.
- Sprinkle a layer of crushed vanilla wafers or graham crackers.
- Repeat Layers:
- Repeat the layers with more peaches, pudding, whipped cream, and crushed wafers until you reach the top of the bowl. End with a layer of whipped cream and a sprinkle of crushed wafers or graham crackers for garnish.
- Chill and Serve:
- Refrigerate the trifle for at least 1 hour to allow the flavors to meld together.
- Serve chilled and enjoy!
