No-Bake Orange Cheesecake Recipe

 

 

Ingredients:

  • For the Crust:
    • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
    • 1/3 cup sugar
    • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • For the Filling:
    • 1 cup heavy cream
    • 1 pound cream cheese, softened
    • 2/3 cup granulated sugar
    • Zest of 2 oranges
    • 1/2 cup orange juice (freshly squeezed is best)
    • 1 tablespoon gelatin, dissolved in 1/4 cup boiling water
  • For Decoration:
    • Orange slices
    • Whipped cream

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Crust:
    • Mix graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter in a bowl until well combined.
    • Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan.
    • Chill in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes to set.
  2. Make the Filling:
    • In a large bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Set aside.
    • In another bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with sugar until smooth and creamy.
    • Add orange zest and orange juice, mixing until well combined.
    • Stir in the dissolved gelatin into the cream cheese mixture.
    • Gently fold in the whipped cream until the mixture is uniform.
  3. Assemble the Cheesecake:
    • Pour the filling over the prepared crust, smoothing the top with a spatula.
    • Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4-6 hours, or overnight, until set.
  4. Decorate and Serve:
    • Before serving, decorate with whipped cream and fresh orange slices.
    • Carefully remove the cheesecake from the springform pan and place on a serving plate.
