Loaded Nachos
Ingredients:
**For the Beef Mixture:**
– 1 lb (450g) ground beef
– 1 small onion, finely chopped
– 2 cloves garlic, minced
– 1 packet taco seasoning
– 1/4 cup water
**For the Nachos:**
– 1 large bag tortilla chips
– 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
– 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
– 1/2 cup sliced black olives
– 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
– 1/4 cup diced red onions
– 1/4 cup sliced jalapeños (optional)
– 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
– 1/2 cup sour cream
– 1/4 cup sliced green onions

Instructions:
1. **Cook the Beef Mixture:**
– In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef until browned and fully cooked. Drain any excess fat.
– Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the beef and cook until the onion is soft and translucent.
– Stir in the taco seasoning and water. Cook for another 2-3 minutes, until the seasoning is well combined and the mixture is heated through. Remove from heat.
2. **Preheat the Oven:**
– Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
3. **Assemble the Nachos:**
– On a large baking sheet or oven-safe dish, spread an even layer of tortilla chips.
– Sprinkle half of the shredded cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese over the chips.
– Evenly distribute the cooked beef mixture over the cheese.
– Add another layer of tortilla chips on top of the beef mixture.
– Sprinkle the remaining cheese over the top layer of chips.
– Add sliced black olives, diced tomatoes, diced red onions, and sliced jalapeños (if using) on top.
4. **Bake the Nachos:**
– Bake in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

5. **Garnish and Serve:**
– Remove the nachos from the oven and let them cool slightly.
– Dollop sour cream in the center and sprinkle with chopped fresh cilantro and sliced green onions.
– Serve immediately with additional toppings like guacamole, salsa, or more sour cream if desired.
