Lemon and Herb Grilled Chicken

 

 

 

Ingredients:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 lemons, one juiced and one sliced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh oregano, chopped (plus more for garnish)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions:

  1. Marinate Chicken:
    • In a bowl, combine lemon juice, minced garlic, chopped oregano, olive oil, salt, and pepper.
    • Place the chicken breasts in the marinade and ensure they are well coated. Let them marinate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours in the refrigerator.
  2. Preheat Grill:
    • Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  3. Grill Chicken:
    • Remove the chicken from the marinade, shaking off any excess.
    • Grill the chicken breasts for 6-7 minutes on each side or until they have nice grill marks and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  4. Serve:
    • Serve the grilled chicken with slices of the second lemon and a sprinkle of fresh oregano on top.
