Ham and Cheese Pinwheels Recipe
**Ingredients:**
– 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
– 8 slices of deli ham
– 8 slices of Swiss cheese (or any cheese of your choice)
– 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard (optional)
– 1 tablespoon melted butter
– 1 tablespoon poppy seeds
– Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)
**Instructions:**
1. **Preheat the oven** to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.

2. **Roll out the crescent roll dough** into a large rectangle. If using crescent rolls, press the perforations to seal them and form a single sheet of dough.
3. **Spread a thin layer of Dijon mustard** (if using) over the dough.
4. **Layer the ham slices** evenly over the dough, followed by the cheese slices.
5. **Starting from one of the long sides, roll the dough** tightly into a log. Pinch the seam to seal.
6. **Cut the log into 1-inch slices** and place them cut-side down on the prepared baking sheet.

7. **Brush the tops of the pinwheels** with melted butter and sprinkle with poppy seeds.
8. **Bake in the preheated oven** for 12-15 minutes, or until the pinwheels are golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
9. **Remove from the oven** and let them cool for a few minutes. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley, if desired.
