Greek Salad Recipe
Ingredients:
– 3 large tomatoes, diced
– 1 large cucumber, peeled and diced
– 1 red onion, diced
– 200 grams (7 ounces) feta cheese, cubed
– 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
– 1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
– 1 teaspoon dried oregano
– Salt and pepper to taste
– Optional: a handful of pitted Kalamata olives
Instructions:
1. In a large bowl, combine the diced tomatoes, cucumber, and red onion.
2. Add the cubed feta cheese and olives (if using) to the bowl.
3. In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, red wine vinegar, dried oregano, salt, and pepper.
4. Pour the dressing over the salad and toss gently to combine.
5. Let the salad sit for a few minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.
6. Serve the salad chilled or at room temperature.
