Garlic Cheese Pull-Apart Bread Recipe

 

 

 

Ingredients:

  • 1 large round bread loaf (preferably sourdough or Italian)
  • 1 cup melted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the Oven:
    • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Prepare the Bread:
    • Cut the bread in a grid pattern, being careful not to slice all the way through the bottom crust.
  3. Make Garlic Butter Mixture:
    • In a small bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, and dried oregano.
  4. Add Cheese:
    • Gently pry open the bread pieces and drizzle a generous amount of the garlic butter mixture inside the cuts.
    • Stuff the shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese into the cuts in the bread.
  5. Bake:
    • Wrap the bread in foil and place it on a baking sheet.
    • Bake covered for 20 minutes.
    • Uncover and bake for an additional 10 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and the bread is crispy on the top.
  6. Serve:
    • Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving to avoid burning hands on the melted cheese.
    • Pull apart the pieces and enjoy the melty, cheesy goodness!
