Garlic Cheese Pull-Apart Bread Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 large round bread loaf (preferably sourdough or Italian)
- 1 cup melted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions:
- Preheat the Oven:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Prepare the Bread:
- Cut the bread in a grid pattern, being careful not to slice all the way through the bottom crust.
- Make Garlic Butter Mixture:
- In a small bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, and dried oregano.
- Add Cheese:
- Gently pry open the bread pieces and drizzle a generous amount of the garlic butter mixture inside the cuts.
- Stuff the shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese into the cuts in the bread.
- Bake:
- Wrap the bread in foil and place it on a baking sheet.
- Bake covered for 20 minutes.
- Uncover and bake for an additional 10 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and the bread is crispy on the top.
- Serve:
- Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving to avoid burning hands on the melted cheese.
