Creamy Chicken and Noodles
Ingredients:
– 2 cups cooked, shredded chicken
– 1 package (12 ounces) egg noodles
– 4 cups chicken broth
– 1 can (10.5 ounces) cream of chicken soup
– 1 cup heavy cream or half-and-half
– 1/2 cup milk
– 1/4 cup butter
– 1 teaspoon garlic powder
– 1 teaspoon onion powder
– 1 teaspoon dried parsley
– Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. **Cook the Noodles:**
– In a large pot, bring the chicken broth to a boil. Add the egg noodles and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Do not drain the broth.
2. **Prepare the Sauce:**
– In a separate large pot or Dutch oven, melt the butter over medium heat.
– Add the cream of chicken soup, heavy cream, and milk. Stir until smooth and heated through.
3. **Combine Ingredients:**

– Carefully transfer the cooked noodles and the broth they cooked in to the pot with the sauce and chicken. Mix until everything is well combined.

– Add garlic powder, onion powder, and dried parsley. Stir well.
– Season with salt and pepper to taste. Adjust the seasoning according to your preference.
5. **Simmer:**
– Let the mixture simmer over low heat for about 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce thickens and the flavors meld together.
