**Ingredients:**
– 1 tablespoon butter
– 1 small onion, diced
– 2 cloves garlic, minced
– 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
– 2 cups chicken or vegetable broth

– 1 large carrot, grated

**Instructions:**
1. **Sauté the Onion and Garlic:**
