Ingredients:
– 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
– 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
– 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
– 1 cup heavy cream
– 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
– 4 tablespoons butter
– 3 cloves garlic, minced
– 1/4 cup chopped parsley
– 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
– Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. **Preheat the oven** to 375°F (190°C).
2. **Prepare the Shrimp:**
– Season the shrimp with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using). Set aside.
3. **Make the Cheese Sauce:**
– In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
– Add the minced garlic and cook until fragrant (about 1 minute).
– Stir in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
– Gradually add the cheddar, mozzarella, and Parmesan cheeses, stirring continuously until the cheese is fully melted and the sauce is smooth. Remove from heat.
4. **Assemble the Casserole:**
– In a baking dish, spread a thin layer of the cheese sauce on the bottom.
– Arrange the shrimp on top of the sauce.
– Pour the remaining cheese sauce over the shrimp, making sure they are evenly covered.
