**Ingredients:**

– 4-5 large potatoes, peeled and sliced
– 1 lb (450g) ground beef
– 1 onion, finely chopped
– 2 cloves garlic, minced
– 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
– 1 teaspoon paprika
– 1 teaspoon dried oregano
– Salt and pepper to taste
– 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
– 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
– Olive oil for cooking

**Instructions:**

1. **Preheat Oven:**
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

2. **Prepare Potatoes:**
Peel and slice the potatoes into thin rounds. Place them in a bowl of cold water to prevent browning.

3. **Cook Ground Beef:**
In a large skillet, heat a tablespoon of olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the chopped onion and cook until translucent. Add the garlic and cook for another minute.
Add the ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned. Drain excess fat if necessary.

4. **Season Meat:**
Stir in the tomato sauce, paprika, oregano, salt, and pepper. Let it simmer for about 10 minutes.

5. **Assemble Casserole:**
Lightly grease a baking dish. Arrange a layer of potato slices on the bottom of the dish. Spoon a layer of the meat mixture over the potatoes. Repeat the layers until all the potatoes and meat mixture are used, finishing with a layer of potatoes on top.

6. **Add Cheese:**
Sprinkle the cheddar and mozzarella cheese evenly over the top layer of potatoes.

7. **Bake:**
Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown, and the potatoes are tender.
