- Preheat the Oven:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare the Bread:
- If you’re using a whole loaf of bread, make deep cuts in a grid pattern without slicing all the way through. If you’re using separate dinner rolls, place them closely together in a baking dish so they’re touching.
- Make the Garlic Butter Mixture:
- In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, and Italian seasoning.
- Assemble the Cheesy Pull-Apart Bread:
- Carefully pour or brush the garlic butter mixture into the cuts or over the rolls, making sure the garlic and butter seep into all areas.
- Stuff shredded mozzarella and Parmesan into the cuts or between the rolls. Be generous with the cheese for that gooey, pull-apart effect.
- Bake:
- Cover the bread with foil and bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes. This will allow the cheese to melt without browning too quickly.
- After 15 minutes, remove the foil and bake for another 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
- Garnish and Serve:
- Remove from the oven and sprinkle with fresh chopped parsley for a pop of color and added flavor. Serve warm and enjoy pulling apart each cheesy, garlicky piece!
Tips:
- For extra flavor, add a few slices of pepperoni or cooked bacon bits between the rolls or bread slices.
- Use a blend of cheeses like mozzarella, cheddar, or Gruyère for added depth of flavor.
- Serve with marinara sauce on the side for dipping.
Enjoy this cheesy, garlicky pull-apart bread as a comforting appetizer or a side to your favorite Italian meal!
