No-Bake Orange Cheesecake Recipe
Ingredients:
- For the Crust:
- 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- For the Filling:
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 pound cream cheese, softened
- 2/3 cup granulated sugar
- Zest of 2 oranges
- 1/2 cup orange juice (freshly squeezed is best)
- 1 tablespoon gelatin, dissolved in 1/4 cup boiling water
- For Decoration:
- Orange slices
- Whipped cream
Instructions:
- Prepare the Crust:
- Mix graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter in a bowl until well combined.
- Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan.
- Chill in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes to set.
- Make the Filling:
- In a large bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Set aside.
- In another bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with sugar until smooth and creamy.
- Add orange zest and orange juice, mixing until well combined.
- Stir in the dissolved gelatin into the cream cheese mixture.
- Gently fold in the whipped cream until the mixture is uniform.
- Assemble the Cheesecake:
- Pour the filling over the prepared crust, smoothing the top with a spatula.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4-6 hours, or overnight, until set.
- Decorate and Serve:
- Before serving, decorate with whipped cream and fresh orange slices.
- Carefully remove the cheesecake from the springform pan and place on a serving plate.
